Automatic Welding
Submerged arc process
Welding or hard-surfacing process mainly used by the
industrial sectors looking for high deposition rates.
The most current field of applications are : metallic
structure, shipyards, offshore piping, large thickness
boiler-making, mecano-welded construction.
MIG/MAG process
The MIG/MAG process can be automated in several modes
according to the customer's requirements.
TIG welding process
- This process allows high quality welding of stainless
and alloy steels (0.5 to 3 mm thickness), aluminium
and its alloys (1 to 8 mm thickness) copper and noble
metals, with a very good aspect.
- For anticorrosion and anti wear deposits.
- For repairing mechanical parts (aeronautical industry)
Plasma welding process
A process and equipment to improve your productivity
in the domain of prefabricated pipes.
Plasma + TIG process
A complement to the plasma process, ideal for welding
large workpieces or large diameter circular pieces,
of thicknesses ranging from 3 to 8 mm.
Tricathode process
For high speed welding of stainless steel tubes.
Self-propelled carriages
These carriages carry their welding equipment and travel
on or near the workpieces to be welded.
Assembly installations
For automatic welding of very long workpieces (beams,
railway carriages, containers). These high-tech machines
travel on rails.
Column and booms & Seamers
They allow positioning of MIG/MAG, TIG, PLASMA, SUBMERGED
ARC welding heads and torches.
Positioners
The range of SAF positioners caters for the most common
manual or automatic applications involving workpieces
up to 10 tons.
Rotators
VIROSAF is a simple and efficient piece of equipment
for manual or automatic welding of vessels with little
out-of-balance movement.
Lathes for circular workpieces
Rotating a workpiece about its own axis is made possible
thanks to the MECAGYR range.
Mechanization machines
SAF can help you reduce your fabrication costs as well
as limiting or even suppressing repetitive and menial
tasks thanks to simple, personalized machines adapted
to your own needs.
Seam tracking systems
They allow to improve the quality of your welds and
to reduce touch-up and finishing operations.
Engineering and special machines
Since 1963, SAFMATIC has realized more than 1000 special
machines for diverse industries : boiler making, automotive
construction, aeronautical, nuclear, civil engineering
equipment, food industry...
Laser and electron beam processes
The focussed energy beams result in the most concentrated
thermal welding effects. The quality of the welded workpieces
is such that they are generally directly usable for
final assembly.
